Self-Representing Artist - Jewelry Designer
Laura Bracken of Bracken Designs deserves much credit for starting this new organization. Laura describes this mission, as follows:
"We are an organization trying to raise awareness for the customers so they can begin to tell the difference between someone who makes and sells their own items versus someone who is merely a middleman and sells items made by others (often slave labor)."
Laura purchased the domain name, donated the website space, created the logo, responds to all the applications, investigates all the websites, answer emails, etc... along with taking care of her family, going to her full-time office job, running her business, and running an online dicussion group.
Laura recommends the best thing we can do at this point is to spread the word!
